Annual Meeting 2014

On Sunday the 6th July 2014, we held our annual meeting. The group committee elections were held and general business discussed. This was followed by a most interesting presentation by Susan Taylor, Senior Biodiversity Officer, Yarram DEPI, relating to the migratory paths of shorebirds which visit our shores, in particular Corner Inlet. This also covered activities by Victorian Wader Study Group members who undertake studies and collect statistics of shorebirds. The presentation was supported by a well presented slide show.

Following the presentation we treated ourselves to a variety of hot home made soups and homemade bread. Yum!!

The day was not quite as serious as the photographs below depict!
